How does an image sound?

How does an image sound? This question I often ask myself when I look at an image. This video is about a project which is about integrating sound into an image. The image is printed with a woodcut on a steel plate. Behind the plate a shaker is mounted, which is driven by a mp3-player. It plays a sound file so that the viewer can hear and feel the sound of the image.
