Star and Kim

I really enjoyed the shooting with Star and Kim. They are both from the fashion industry and acted very professionally in front of the camera. On top of that they contributed a lot of ideas for the different scenes and the set up.

After some initial trial shots with more ordinary lighting and traditional portrait conditions, we went to more stylish settings.

Below images were created by using colored filter film for some of the flashes and  shooting through a glass window, partly covered with Vaseline. The color film created the blue effects on the back ground and faces. Shooting through the window added some reflections while the Vaseline was used to create blurs within the image as well as some special reflections.

I like the depth of above image, created by putting Star in the front of the image with some darker shadows, while Kim is in the back out of the focal plane  with more light on her contours.
