I have a dream
Martin Luther King Jr. was deeply committed to nonviolence, peace, and social justice. In fact, during his life, he strongly opposed the Vietnam War, calling it “an enemy of the poor” and criticizing how it diverted resources and moral attention away from civil rights issues at home. He often said things like, “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice,” but also warned that injustice anywhere threatens justice everywhere. If King were alive today, seeing the wars around the world — in places like Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, and others — he would almost certainly have condemned the violence from all sides. He would probably call for: • Immediate ceasefires • Diplomacy over military action • Global solidarity in addressing the root causes like poverty, racism, colonialism, and inequality • Compassion for refugees and victims of war He might also criticize governments (especially powerful ones) for prioritizing military spending over investing in social welfare, education, and healthcare. For this film’s soundscapes the famous Martin Luther King speech from 1963 was used. Parts of it were recorded with a Make Noise Morphagene module, spliced and granulated. Additionally sounds produced with a Waldorf Blofeld and some effects from Strymon Nightsky were added. All images were created with Midjourney v7 and a personally trained profile.
